Description: Metamorfoosi 1:1 000 000 on yhtenäinen koko Suomen kattava aineisto. Aineistossa esitetään kallioperän metamorfoosi useassa erillisessä vaiheessa, ennen lämpötilamaksimia eli huippua (prepeak), huippu (peak), huipun jälkeinen päällemerkintä (overprint) ja toinen huipun jälkeinen päällemerkintä (oveprint2). Näissä tasoissa on identtiset attribuuttitiedot, jotka kuvaavat metamorfoosia. Jokainen ajallinen taso koostuu reunaviiva- ja pistetasoista sekä näistä muodostuneista aluetasosta. Pistetason attribuuttitieto siirtyy aluetasolle. Viivatasoilla esitetään metamorfoosiasteen muutoksia: isograadeja, postmetamorfisia siirroksia ja ikädiskordansseja.
Alue- ja pistetasot sisältävät ominaisuustietona metamorfoosiasteen koodit, joita ovat metamorfoosityyppi, suhteellinen ikä, intensiteetti, P/T-suhde, CGI-luokka, fasies, alafasies ja sille tyypilliset mineraaliseurueet, migmatiittityyppi ja metamorfoosin aikaväli. Viivatasoilla on omat hierarkkiset luokituksensa, joilla kuvataan metamorfoosiasteen muutoksen tyypit. Nuorimmilta syväkivilajien alueilta ei ole määritetty metamorfoosiastetta.
Aineisto on mittakaavassa 1:1 000 000 ETRS-TM35FIN -koordinaatistossa.

Metamorphism 1:1 000 000 is a unified dataset covering the whole Finland. The dataset consists of several layers representing temporally different metamorphic stages which are prepeak, peak (temperature maximum), overprint and second overprint, all is a same feature dataset. Each temporal stage contains identical attribute information which describes the metamorphism. Each temporal layers contain metamorphic line and point layers as well as polygon layer. The attribute information from the label layer are relocated to the polygon layer. The boundary layers represent the changes in metamorphic grade: isograds, postmetamorphic shear zones and temporal unconformities. The metamorphic polygon layers as well as point layers include metamorphic coding which includes the type of metamorphism, relative age, intensity, P/T ratio, CGI class, metamorphic facies, subfacies and its typical mineral assemblages, migmatite type and age limits. The line layers have their own hierarchical classification which is used to describe the type of change in the metamorphic grade. Metamorphism cannot be determined from regionally youngest rocks.
The data are at 1:1 000 000 scale in ETRS-TM35FIN projection.
