Description: Aineisto antaa yleiskuvan Suomen kallioperän korkeustasosta. Aineisto perustuu havaintoihin kallionpinnan tasosta, jonka korkeusvaihtelun tiedetään Suomen oloissa olevan huomattavan suurta pienen alueen sisälläkin. Aineisto perustuu GTK:n Maapeitepaksuus 1:1 000 000 - aineistoon, Maanmittauslaitoksen 200m x 200m korkeusmalliin sekä GTK:n harjurakenneprojekteissa mallinnettuihin kallioperän paikallisiin korkeusmalleihin. Aineiston ruutukoko on 250 metriä. Kallioperän korkeusmalli on luonteeltaan pieneen mittakaavaan yleistettyä ja interpoloitua tietoa, eikä sitä ole tarkoitettu kohteelliseen tarkasteluun. / The data is an overview of the elevation of the Finnish bedrock. The data is based on observations of the bedrock surface level, the height variation of which in Finnish conditions is known to be considerably high even within a small area. The bedrock elevation model is based on the superficial deposits thickness 1:1 000 000 data (GTK), the Digital elevation data 200m x 200m (National Land Survey of Finland) and the local bedrock elevation levels modelled in the Glaciofluvial deposit modelling projects conducted by GTK. The grid size for Bedrock surface 1:1 000 000 is 250 metres. The bedrock elevation model 1:1 000 000 is by nature generalized and interpolated information on a small scale and is not intended for targeted consideration.
